We received a request from our National Training Director: Louis Van Huyssteen, who was approached by the HSRC (Mr Steward Ngandu), for your kind consideration – to complete the HSRC survey.
“The Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) is currently conducting a company level skills needs survey. The survey is being run independently by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) on behalf of the SETA. My name is Stewart Ngandu and I am the Principle Investigator on the study.
As you are aware effective skills planning requires that the SETA has a sound understanding of the skills & training needs and challenges currently and those that will be needed in the future. This company level survey is aimed at providing merSETA with relevant information to ensure that its New Strategy 2020 – 2024 is responsive to the skills needs of the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sectors that it is mandated to serve. However, this can only work if companies such as yours participate in the survey and as such we are kindly asking you to complete the SETA’s survey using the link below, your company’s input is vital for this process.
